Hello, my name is Stacey Horstman and I am the Executive Director. I have been with Eastminster since 2005, and in Administration since 2009. I have two amazing girls, both are Eastminster Alumni students and am married to my high school sweetheart. I graduated from Lansing Community College in 2005 with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, photography and caring for my plants. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work with children and have loved being part of so many lives throughout my career. I value quality early child care and look forward to getting to know your family. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s life and their early education.

I have worked at Eastminster since the fall of 2002 starting as a part-time aide. In 2005, I was promoted to the Assistant position in Gecko’s part time while I finished college. In August 2008, I took over at the Lead teacher in Geckos. In June 2022, I joined ECDC's administrative team as Assistant Director. I have a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Development and Learning. I love this school and even bought a house right down the street. I have worked here since I was 19 years old and this place has always felt like home. I enjoy spending time at my family cottage and vacationing in Marco Island, Florida.

I am the proud lead teacher of the Starfish classroom and have worked at Eastminster since 1996. I have always worked in the toddler classroom and love that age group. My goal as a teacher is to help the children develop self confidence, self esteem and have good problem solving skills. Also, we want to have fun, laugh a lot and learn to enjoy life. Watching them grow, take their first steps and begin to build relationships with their friends is truly a joy. The strong connections we make during their time as Starfish enriches my life in many ways. I have a variety of interests outside of Eastminster. I am an artist, I practice martial arts and yoga and my current favorite is hiking with my dog Angie. Eastminster has provided me the opportunity to work along side so many wonderful and diverse people who share their strengths in our community. We continue to support each other as we learn and grow as individuals and as a Center.

Hello Families! I’m excited to welcome you to our school! I’ve been working at Eastminster since 2011, where I started as an assistant toddler teacher and I loved it. Then in 2013, I accepted a preschool 1 lead teacher position in the Penguin Room. Now, I am a co-lead in the Starfish room. I love hearing the children’s stories, while watching them learn and grow every day! I received my Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Early Childhood Development from Central Michigan University. I babysat for many years prior, working with children ages 3 months to 13 years. Now I am a mom to my two younger children who have both attended here at the center. We have a ton of fun every day and I love to getting to know new children and their families!

I have been working at Eastminster since 2013. I have worked in the Starfish room since 2014, starting as an aide and became an Assistant Teacher in 2018. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Anthropology. In 2016, graduated with my Master’s degree in Psychology specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue University Global. After finishing my Master’s degree I completed a yearlong internship working with children with autism. Most of my spare time is spent reading, but I also love watching movies and binge-watching TV shows, listening to music and audiobooks, spending time with my family and going up north as often as I can. I hope to use my experience and education to provide the best possible care and learning environment for your children and I look forward to meeting you all.

Hello, my name is Lyndie Beebe. I have been at Eastminster Child Development Center since 2019. I started out as a Panda assistant but in August of 2020, I took the position of Panda Lead. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2019 with a degree in Early Childhood Development and Learning and a minor in Family Studies. In my free time, I love to bake and spend time with my family. I can't wait to get to know your family!

Siony B. McIntire was born in the Philippines. She lived in the Philippines until she graduated from college. After graduating, she decided to work abroad and worked in Hong Kong as a nanny for 6 years for a family. She returned to the Philippines. After marrying an American, she came to the United States in 1995 and was also a nanny here in Lansing for over a year. She started working at Eastminster from 2000 to 2002. After her girls were born, she returned to Eastminster from 2006 to 2016. She decided to work at Okemos Kids Club from 2016 to 2018. Then decided to return to Eastminster as a part-time employee beginning in 2018. She has mostly worked with the toddler classroom throughout her employment and enjoys very much working with this age group. Eastminster is like Siony's second home. All three of her kids did their toddler to pre-school at Eastminster. Her oldest child just finished his 4-year degree, her second child is working at Great Harvest and her youngest daughter is going to be a senior at Okemos High School.

I’ve been in East Lansing since 2021 and am excited to be with a new set of little ones in this town. I love music, makeup, cooking, art, and so much more! I have been part of the ECDC team since May 2000. In my first year, I began working as a part-time aide throughout the center giving me the opportunity to work with all ages. My second year I began working in this current classroom and have been here for 21 years and looking forward to many more years. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. My previous experiences are volunteering at Red Cedar Elementary School and teaching Arabic at a local school. I’ve been a member of the East Lansing Community for over 20 years. I have four children: a girl and three boys and was blessed with a beautiful Grandson. I enjoy working with the children in my classroom and being part of their development. I’ve had the pleasure of having several children over the years stop by my classroom and visit. I look forward to working with your family!

I graduated from Mason High School in 2014 and I am currently attending LCC for Social Work. I've been working at Eastminster since June of 2015 as a part time aide. In the Spring of 2017, I accepted a full time teaching position in the Frog classroom which I have really enjoyed. In the Fall of 2017 I took over as the assistant teacher in the Gecko classroom. In June 2022, I became the lead teacher for the Gecko classroom. I am very excited for this opportunity to get to know you and your family. We will do great things in the Gecko room!

I have been working with children in various settings since 2018, but I discovered my passion for teaching while I worked as a Montessori teaching assistant from 2022-2024. I am currently attending school to earn an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time, I enjoy portrait photography, going to concerts, and spending time with friends & family. I truly enjoy helping each child discover their own love of learning and it is a privilege to be a part of their development alongside you!

My name is Rebecca Hill (Beckie). I graduated from Ferris State University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2007. I got married at the end of 2007 and moved to Florida where I started to teach at a Primrose School as a Pre-K teacher. I worked in Florida for three years and in that time both of our children were born. My children’s names are Kayden and Caleb. Both boys attended Eastminster after moving back to the area. I have been working at Eastminster since 2011.

I have been part of the Eastminster family since May of 2017, but I took some time off to be with my daughter when she was born. I was the Zebra assistant teacher from June 2017 to September 2020, and spent some time as the Penguin assistant. I am now back in the Zebra classroom. I attended Central Michigan University in 2016 and I am currently working on my CDA. I look forward to seeing you all soon.
