Eastminster is governed by a voluntary board of directors made up of the following members: five staff, six parents, and two community representatives. The Board of Directors oversees center policies, goals, and management guidelines.
The Board typically meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. September’s meeting is set aside for an Annual Membership forum. This is a great opportunity for potential candidates to meet the current board, ask questions, and make brief statements about why they may be interested in serving on the board.
During the month of October, families at ECDC are presented with all potential parent candidates and vote on who they believe should serve on the Board of Directors for that academic year.
