Eastminster is always looking for qualified candidates to join our team. Classrooms are staffed with highly qualified, experienced adults who provide age-appropriate activities and materials in order to enhance all areas of development: social-emotional, physical, fine and gross motor, and cognitive. In addition, adults provide support, expand play, help children resolve conflict in a positive, nonviolent manner, and serve as role models for appropriate behavior and language.

Teaching Assistant, Preschool I, Penguin Classroom (full time) – download position description

We are looking to fill a full time preschool teaching position working with children 2.5-4 years of age. The position begins immediately. The hours of this position are 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Job duties would include carrying out lesson plans in the absence of the lead teacher, communicating with parents, and day to day care of a group of children.

Applicants must have experience/education in Child Development and meet NAEYC requirements for Assistant Teachers.

We are offering a $1,000 signing bonus for this position.



Part Time Aide, all classrooms – download position description

Part Time Aids must be mature, sensitive individuals who have experience working with young children. Must have ability to work cooperatively with other adults to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Coursework in early childhood education or related field is preferred.

We are offering a $500 signing bonus for this position.
