COVID-19 Response

Eastminster Child Development Center staff and board take the health and safety of our families and staff seriously.

As of March 21, 2022 masks will no longer be required for students, their families, or our staff. However, masks are encouraged for all as another layer of protection against COVID-19 infection. Staff and families may still choose to mask, and we will continue to encourage children to wear masks as requested by their families.

Our board of directors will continue to follow recommendations of Ingham County Health Department, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Licensing, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the CDC. We will be diligent in our efforts to keep the center open and everyone healthy and implore our families to help us in our efforts.

Families can reference our COVID-19 Health & Exposure Response Plan for information about what to do if we have a positive COVID-19 case in the building.

Information about our COVID-19 cleaning and staffing precautions are available in our COVID-10 Preparedness and Response Plan.
